Gravenstein Apple Celebration, Hood River Fruit Loop, August 18-19th
Gravensteins are considered some of the best apples around by many, but their season is early and short. That's why the Hood River Valley celebrates their quick performance with their very own celebration next weekend.
Head to the Hood River Valley to sample these exquisite apples and the products they make from them, like jams, ciders, syrups, dried fruit and baked goods. While you're at it, taste some wine, sample home made barbeque, visit baby alpacas, pick farm grown flowers, listen to live music, browse hand made quilts, shop for antiques, tour orchards or just enjoy the gorgeous summer views in the shadow of majestic Mt. Hood.
