2012 has been a year of change for us. I (Jared) had a much needed medical procedure done. Sweet (and expensive) relief! My son graduated high school, became taller than me, and is heading off to college. We all could not be prouder of the young man he has become!
My wife had both of her Grandmothers pass away six weeks apart. They both suffered for years, so it was a true blessing. The funerals were both fun and sad at the same time. RIP Grandmas. We know you are in a better place.
Then we switched companies. This was a huge change for us. We went from a small company to one of the top five Century 21 offices in the country. The old and small office was good for the time being, but we were ready for a move. We were ready for a change. We were ready to take it to the next level.
It's been about two months since the move, and we have finally settled in.
Today we had a small cook out with my son and our immediate family. At one point I looked around and all I could do was smile. I am so thankful. I'm thankful for my wife, my son, my mother in law for all of her support, and all of my family and close friends.
I'm thankful that God allows us to live the live that we lead and that our business is striving.
The only thing missing right now is turkey. I love turkey. :)
