When I was a pre-schooler, I remember loving "Mr. Roger's Neighborhood", the Bill Cosby hosted "Picture Puzzle", and "Sesame Street" television shows. They were my must see favorites. Now that I have two 5 year olds, I have realized pre-school shows have really upped their game with interactive programs such as Blue's Clues, Mickey Mouse Playhouse, and Dora the Explorer. However, one show has amazingly captivated my children and it is coming to Richmond to torture parents delight our well deserving little ones. That's right, the Richmond Carpenter Theatre Presents The Fresh Beat Band!
On Thursday, September 27th at 7PM, the curtains will rise as will the screaming when the four beloved Nickelodeon band mates (Kiki, Shout, Marina, and Twist) take the stage and entertain the youngest members of the family with songs such as "Great Day," "Stick Together," and "Friends." The Fresh Beat Band concert tickets are $31.50-$41.50 each, unless you are looking for the ultimate Fresh Beat experience. Oh, yes! The Richmond Carpenter Theatre Presents The Fresh Beat Band Party Package, which includes: 1 premium seat in the first 10 rows, a meet & greet photo opportunity complete with snacks, a Fresh Beat Band poster, and a Fresh Beat Band VIP Laminate all for $131.50 per person. (Wait a minute, who said Tweens had all the buying power?!)

My daughter is BEGGING me to take her and I am fairly sure her brother secretly wants to attend as well. Seeing their birthday is in November, I think this may be one thing I have to indulge them in...from the cheap seats! Hey, we are all only kids once!
