Community Events: Maricopa's First Swap Meet

Not me! Actually, Carey and I pretty much work through the weekend as that is our time to shine and help buyers find homes as most of our clients work during the week.

It's kind of hard sometimes because you have my sister who is always ready to party on Friday and Saturday night and of course my kids are done with school for a couple of days, and so it pulls at us a little bit. We feel stretched at times.

This weekend was no exception. My daughter Marissa's birthday was this weekend as well as my mother in-law's, as well as my sister's boyfriend Ben's birthday. So we tried to celebrate all three together. On Saturday, we went to Extreme Jump n Skate in Chandler and then partied into the night at Karen's place where even my father picked up the mic and busted out the vocals on the legendary Beatles song, "Here Comes the Sun."

So that was that and Carey and I still ended up helping two of our clients go into escrow and sell one's home. Monday is our weekend and a little bit of Tuesday, but still we make ourselves available for open business.
