What do you think, Brother? Could we make it across? It doesn't look that far? What if we took a running start?
Naah! Mom, probably wouldn't appreciate it or think it was much fun. Maybe we better find something else to do for now.

Good morning Christine. You can hear the wheels turning. One is probably for just doing it while the other is saying they need a plan. lol
Neat photo! My boys would not have asked the question but begged forgiveness later...ah well.
I remember a similar thought and experience when I was about 7. It was along the Oregon coast. What happened next was memorable. The sand was almost like quick sand, and even though the water was shallow, the bottom was not. I immediately sank in sandy mud up to my waist. My mom wasn't happy, because it wasn't the easiest thing to get me out of it!
