Hello all, Doug Beaver here and probably about to stir the pot again. Oh well here goes, I really do not understand this concept of being politically correct. Let me explain, Of all the issues in this nation I truly do not believe anyone can in there right mind vote 100% Republican and or Democrat. What ever happened to just plain old "Do The Right Thing" ?
There is now way whether you are ultra liberal or ultra conservative that all issues can be decided by strict Party Lines. Do we actually have any free thinkers left in this nation of ours ? I have written other Blogs where the response was about the law in each individuals state and not the ethics at hand. I have also written Blogs about subjects that polorize us as a nation, Immigration, Medical Care to name a few, Are we capable as a nation and people to discuss issues with an open mind and not a hidden agenda ?
This is what I see as tearing at the fabric of this great nation. Special Interest and the hey the government is so big they can pay for my sacrificial lamb syndrome.
So do we dare discuss this ? Or is open discussion now forbidden and long live political correct diatribe ( hope is is spelled right ).
