So many Americans decide they are tired of the cold weather or wicked winters; they are looking for a change of scenery and a change of pace. Life is like isn't it - its about change and challenges. When you are tired of battling the wet and wretched winters and want to relax and enjoy life, then you must join the rest of us here who have made Palm Springs our home.
Of course, this perfect weather we have here is also rivaled by other real estate markets as well, for instance the Las Vegas Real Estate Market or the Phoenix Real Estate Market. The North Side of Phoenix is very nice, places like Gilbert, Scottsdale, Mesa, Carefree, Cave Creek, Anthem, all very nice areas indeed. Even the suburbs of Iwatukee, Chandler, Trillium, Tempe, Goodyear, yes all very nice places to live.
Unfortunately, when it comes to the real estate market many of these areas were over built during the real estate bubble and therefore there are so many homes on the market that the prices will be in the dumps for as long as 2-3 years say some analysts. In the Las Vegas suburbs such as; Seven Hills, Anthem, Green Valley, Henderson, Centennial and even North Las Vegas, well its going to be a while, they hit the same brick wall as Phoenix after the subprime lending fall-out.
That leaves Palm Springs CA as the only truly viable desert resort living in the Western US. And luckily there is a huge buying opportunity right now during this limited window, as the Palm Springs Real Estate price start their hike upwards once more. Now, I cannot speak for everyone, nor would I be a fool to try, but when it comes to desert resort living, I definitely know the place to buy!
