Pascagoula MS. Beach Park
The Pascagoula MS. Beach Park is located at the south end of Pascagoula. The beach is easily accessed by taking Market Street off HWY90 and dead ends at the beach. Left will take you to the Beach Park, and a right will take you to the Point, where you can launch your boat. Ingalls Shipyard is visible from the point, and the old Pascagoula Naval station.
There are three pavillions, a playground, a splash pad, benches located throughout the park and a few swings close to the fence that overlook the Mississippi sound, the beach and the 1000 ft. pier.
There are two barrier islands that can be seen on clear days that shield Pascagoula from the Gulf of Mexico. They are petit bois and round island.
