Sample 100 beers from more than 40 breweries at a two day beer festival with live music Friday and Saturday August 17, & 18-2012 hosted by Stone Brewery at California State University San Marcos, 333 S. Twin Oaks Valley road In San Marcos, California. Brewers reception is 6 to 9PM., Friday: $75.00 Two Tasting Session, 11AM, to 2PM, or 3 to 6PM, Saturday $40.00 each or $75.00 both; discounted designated driver tickets. Proceeds benefit area charities

Beatles Tribute:
A free concert with "The Hollywood Beetles", a Beatles Tribute band hits the stage 6PM, Friday with pre-show entertainment starting 5PM, at Walnut Grove Park, 1950 Sycamore Drive, San Marcos. Bring beach chairs or blankets for lawn seating. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be for sale.
