Wow Hillary.  It's amazing how a company can completely take advantage of an elderly couple.  I'm sure they are not the only ones that have been brutalized so there will be a lot of people thanking you for sending out this warning.  It's really sad that there are people out there that have total disregard for another human being and their valuables.  I will say prayers for your parents that they can physically and emotionally bounce back from their treatment.  They are lucky to have you in their corner.

Doubtful if they even belong to the Better Business Bureau, but check to see if you can file something there too. Inexcusable. I have elderly parents too, and I'm sick just reading what yours have had to go through. If you video-taped any of this carnage, put it on You Tube as well, along with what Debbie said. Hopefully, SEO will warn others not to use Alliance Express Moving as they clearly have shown a disregard for the belongings of their customers and a poor way of doing business in general.

Thanks, Debbie for the Sympathy.  Got on Rip off Report a year ago and found some others too, focused on Movers to file complaints.  Wish I had that Angie's list membership still to file against them.  Google Places is one to check out...a complaint forum?  Cool!

 

Paula - you are the best and yeah, I wanted to ward nothers. Appreciate the prayers and it's hard to see one's parents cry, literally, as my Dad moves "home" to NY area.  Thanks so much!

Sam ~ thanks for your comment and good advice.  Of course I'm annoyed and indignant for my parents and after pulling the phone with a screaming crazy guy on it from my tearful stepmom's hands.  She's from Singapore and very Patrician and it was difficult.  On Dad's side, I'm Apache indian, so let's just say that my Native American temper came out.  thanks again.
