Never trust a guy who hides behind a mask.
Dentists are the most hated of professionals. More phobias there then one could imagine.
Amanda- childhood trauma and a bad root canal 22 years ago for me. Donald is never afraid and handles it like a champ. He even holds my hand while I get my teeth cleaned.
Erv- no hate here, just fear.
I loved my dentist as a child and I have no fear of the dentist. He was the old fashioned type, a little novacaine and out comes the wisdom tooth! I loved going to the dentist as a child. He gave us mercury to play with . . . HA HA HA.
Carla- it was my 7th grade science teacher to let us play with mercury. I remember it well. And believe me I know my fear is not at all rational. I simply cannot make that mind over matter transition to stop it. I've been trying as I've been going back to the dentist the past 6 or so years after a 15 year break.
Tammy, After a stressful day at the dentist you both deserve a restful night.
Just finished a big bowl of Chicken chowder. not usually a summertime dish, but it hit the spot for both of us. Now we're just piled on the sofa watching a little television.
Do not -- ever -- watch "The Dentist" from Little Shop of Horrors . . . LOL
Tammy
Sounds like a dentist success story to me.
Good luck and success.

Tammy- The dentist terrifies me too. I had braces when I was little and ever since then I associate the dentist with pain. I hope Donald is feeling better, he is lucky to have you to take care of him. Enjoy your Sunday.
Glad to hear your Donald is doing well. Going to the dentist shouldn't be such a scary experience. Now he will be more relaxed for future visits. My fiance is a dentist and will go in to see patients anytime over the weekend if necessary and doesn't charge anything extra for doing so. And yes, he offers one stop shopping too! Thanks for sharing.
