Original Source: Little Falls Parkway Farm Market
My friend, Dave, just opened a new farmers market stand in Bethesda, MD... Little Falls Parkway Farm Market. They got started about three weeks ago. I just stopped by for the first time today, and the pickings are good. Heirloom tomatoes, fuzzy peaches, corn on the cob, and lots more. They do a better job of describing it, so... ta da:

FARM FRESH EGGS ARE HERE!
With the summer harvest season at its peak in Maryland, we have traveled to Carroll County to find some of the biggest, best tasting yellow Peaches we've had this year. Along with Yellow and White Peaches, Baugher's Orchards of Westminster will be providing some very sweet and juicy Nectarines and Plums, as well as the first Apples of the season: Gala and Honey Crisp!
Most of the summer staple crops this week will be coming from Deep Run Farms in Hampstead, Maryland, just 15 miles east of Westminster. Your farmer Greg and his crew will be up early Friday morning picking Bi-Color Sweet Corn, Tomatoes, Squash, Zucchini, Red Bell Peppers and Cucumbers for the market. Enjoy the Maryland Peaches and Sweet Corn while you can, the season for these summer treasures is always shorter than we want it to be.
With such a wide variety of crops, it is hard not to find some wonderful organic options to include this week from our good friends at the Tuscarora Organic Grower's Cooperative up in central Pennsylvania. While their crop of great-tasting Heirlooms are in limited supply this week, we will have plenty of their candy-like SunGold and Red Cherry Tomatoes on hand, as well as the long-dark Oriental Express Eggplant, a Purple Stripe Garlic, White Garlic, Red and Sweet Onions, New Red Potatoes and New Gold Potatoes.
Farm-Fresh Eggs Anyone? All Natural Chicken Eggs from Hare Valley Growers in Pennsylvania are here this week. See the difference, taste the difference.
MARKET HOURS: Friday 2pm - 7pm and Saturday 9am - 7pm
