Colorfest 2012 ~ Balloon Rally in the Rocky Mountains

With less than 3 weeks to go, the Balloon Rally in the San Juan Mountains of Southwestern Colorado, are once again on the minds of those who enjoy both the Mountains and Hot Air Balloons. Of course we don't compare ourselves to the Event in Albuquerque the following month, but we can say there is no comparison in terms of the background aesthetics and the Beauty of Southwestern Colorado when it comes to Colorfest.

The 26th Annual Colorfest Balloon Rally Begins September 7th and end on September 9th, 2012.

Doug ~ Not yet, but what I dream about is going up in a Hot Air Balloon, Bungie Jump from that Balloon, cut myself free and free-fall /fly with a Wingsuit and then parachute to the ground. Yeehaw!!! :) If nothing else, at least the latter 2. :)

Roger ~ Myron is still in serious condition and they plan to transfer him to Ft Meade (SD) once it is safe to do so. Myron volunteers there and is well known by staff and patients there. The assailant is a habitual offender and if found guilty he faces 25 years in prison. He has an appearance today (20th), from what I understand, related to the Grand Jury Indictment. I hope the SOB gets the maximum sentence. Thanks for asking.

As for Colorfest '12~ I'm curious as to how many will show up this year. Last year, unofficially, there were 52 entrants. :)
