My son and daughter attend ATA Taekwondo which is located on Honeycutt in Maricopa. Brandon has been attending the school faithfully at least 4 days a week for the last year and a half and Marissa joined him about 4 months ago. They love it.
Master Feiles trains the children to understand and perform the moves necessary to some day becoming a black belt. Two of the key components to this achievement is proper mentality and character development. Master Feiles constantly preaches about ideals like Respect, Goals, Perseverance, and Attitude.
This night was a typical graduation ceremony with lots of kicks, yells, board breaking, sparring, and clapping by the parents. At the end of the ceremony each child gets their new color belt and then takes pictures with the Master and his assistants. Shout outs to the great assistant instructors, Mr. Paul John, Mr. Ison, and Jenny John. They are all great leaders that the kids look up to.
