UPDATE! Saguaro Bloom (Saguaro Springs) Near Continental Ranch Marana?

About a year ago I read the news stories and shared the information regarding what was going on with Saguaro Bloom (Saguaro Springs) Near Continental Ranch Marana.

This area is just 20 minutes or so north of Tucson City Center along the 1-10 corridor that slashes through Marana, Tucson, South Tucson and Vail, AZ.  With only one freeway through town, proximity and commute times can be greatly affected.  Finding your new home with easy access to Tucson amenities can be very important.

The area has sat empty for many years now (Since 2005) and callers are anxiously awaiting a start build date.

I've been in touch with the Scottsdale-based development company, and originally construction was slated before the end of 2012.  All they will tell me at this point is that it hasn't begun yet.  (Ha - I could figure that out!)  They did ask, however, if I would query my readers as to who you would like to see as the builder in Saguaro Bloom.

So...here's the question:

What builder would you like to see out at Saguaro Bloom (Saguaro Springs) Near Continental Ranch in Marana? Or...what builder would you NOT like to see there?

Some of the local builders I can think of are Meritage Homes, Maracay, Pulte, DH Horton, Lennar, Richmond American, KB Homes, TJ Bednar.  Please feel free to add your own and get in on the poll!!

If you'd like more information on the area as it becomes available, I'd be happy to put you on my mailing list for neighborhood alerts and local information.  Or, if you are interested in buying or selling a home in Marana, AZ - call a Marana neighbor.  I'd be glad to help you out.

One last reminder - be sure to take your REALTOR® with you on any first-time visit to a new-construction site.  The site agent works for the builder - you want your own representation and someone with your best interests in mind!  There is no charge to you for having a buyer's agent, and there is no additional charge from the builder for representing yourself with a professional agent.  Be armed - bring a REALTOR® to your first visit to every new home construction site.

It seems to be an endless wait till the construction will commence at Saguaro Bloom (Saguaro Springs) near continental ranch marana. Just hoping that a suitable contract wins the contract of building the houses.

DR Horton will be building homes there this Spring 2013. Grayhawk development has been working on the property the last few weeks getting it ready for Phase I of the project to begin. I suppose once things really get rolling other builders will follow once other Phases start. It will look great once it's all done years from now. Nice to see this development finally get going after sitting there since 2005 when it first went in.

Any idea if plans call for an age-restricted portion of the area?  Love the DR Horton plans available in Green Valley.
