I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! In today's blog I am going to share with you all my decor ideas for a simple and comfy Labor Day party. Labor Day is a time to relax one last time before things become hectic again. It is a time of transition from summer to fall. My idea for a simple and comfy Labor Day party is mixing Summer favorites with Fall time beginnings. This means mixing summer decor with fall decor; colors, fabrics and florals.
Start with dressing your outside table with an ivory linen table cloth. Linen is a common fabric used during the summer because it breathes well. Usually linen is worn or dressed in white, but I felt ivory would blend better with the mix of fall decor.
Next, decorate your table with summer and fall floral bouquets. This shows the transition from the summer season into the fall season in a decorative way. Mix and match all flowers in simple clear, crystal vases with a few twigs blended in with the bouquets.

For your outdoor sitting, use super comfy, plush pillows in ivory and fall colors on your benches and chairs. This gives the feeling of a relaxed environment. Make sure to have a good amount of pillows. Mix and match sizes, colors and patterned pillows.

Serve your guests a mix of favorite summer and fall time drinks, such as lemonade, margaritas, sweet tea and cider. Serve the drinks in mason jars for a "cozy feel". Either set them out on the table, or pre-mix your drinks and serve them on ice in a big tin tub.
