Just a thought!

Well, this is rather awkward for me. I have never posted a Blog. Let me just just start by saying I became a Notary public and signing agent about six years ago. I have seen thousands of loans go through Merced and Stanislaus counties. I've heard horror stories about Lenders, Realtors, Title companies and Brokers. On the other side of the same coin I've heard grand testimonials about each and every one of the same companies. So, I figured it is all about communication. All parties involved in the transaction need to communicate effectively with one another. The borrower/buyer has to ask questions when there is any doubt, discrepancy or confusion. The Professional side needs to make the transaction crystal clear for the client. When I enter a signing I pull out the Note and the Settlement Statement and let the client review. If there are any concerns I have them contact the loan officer for explanations. I can not legally offer any advice, interpretation or even opinions. I wait patiently for resolution. I tell them where to sign, I try to make it a pleasant unstressful experience. If we all do our jobs to the best of our ability it has to be a Win-Win transaction.
