This is what we made on the beach at Sanford Lake park in Sanford MI. Located in Midland County which is South of Gladwin, Beaverton and Wixom Lake.
Great way to spend a few hours. Open to the public. $10 per car for non resident and a discount for residents of Midland County.
Whether you are alone or happen to be enjoying the best company on earth, this is a great way to spend a hot sunny day.
Oh Marilyn - What I would give to have a break in time to allow me to meander over to a wonderful beach like that, and just sink my toes in. Perhaps in a few days the opportunity will arise:-)
Marily, That really is a great looking beach, I am surprised how deserted it is in the Summertime! Very beautiful, I could see spending an afternoon there!
Myrl, I hadn't been there in years. And it's less than 15 minutes from my home. I will be planning to visit more often now that I see how nice it is. I hope you either did or do find time to enjoy yourself at the beach. Any beach!
Tony and Darcy, I know, it was a Wednesday afternoon - so maybe everyone was working and school shopping and the like so that's why it was so deserted. It was a great place and way to spend a sunny afternoon!
