In a recent sit-down meeting with a client who is asking help to market a property due to a job relocation, a question was raised which made me think as if I am a decorator. Pictures of what I have been seeing on TV, magazines, and on the internet - as well as the captivating walls of other clients flashed before me. The client asked of any other material he can use to make the wall surfaces more appealing and more attractive.

Options that will showcase collections and other things are certainly not viable options since they are moving away after the property has been sold, or when the job relocation order has taken effect. Playing with paint, combinations, contrasts, or murals thereof are also out of the selections since the client doesn't want paint in the first place.

Wallpapers are good choices since they can be cut and made to fit the wall surfaces. There are variants to choose from ranging from monochromatic, tiled, two-toned, or those that have complex patterns and glamorous features and stylish designs.

Another suggestion that came in to my mind that time was the use of large wall decals. These are stickers that instantly lend beauty to wall surfaces when their adhesive parts are made to kiss the walls. Decals are available in numerous designs such that there are specific decal arts to match a specific room. Floral decals are best used in living room and bedrooms. Abstract decals can also fit living room walls. But they can also be great decors in the walls of a dining room, especially when their splashes of color make the wall lively and energetic.

To make the walls more noticeable, I also suggested the use of curtains to help prospective home buyers see the beauty of the property. The curtains need to be taken to the side during warm and sunny days to let natural light pass through, bring in healthy air, contribute to natural ventilation and help the wall surfaces be noticed of its design.

If you have been asking the same question or perhaps your client is – these wall surface decorating ideas absent of paint use for your selection and adherence.

Great reblog. Wall decal seems to be popular these day. It's easy to put on or take off.

I recommend anything that can be quickly removed without damaging the walls. Lately I've seen so many colors that have made my customers gasp. Remember, neutral is best when selling a home. It's great to create a nice flow from room to room rather than a staccato move from maroon to navy to olive green. I've seen it!

My sister used those wall decors in her nursery and they look fantastic, it just makes the wall pop!
