Be careful what you put on.....

Real Estate Agent with Janisch & Co. 0396361

Inspired by a post on August 18th, by Myrl Jeffcoat,  where she described what the stress of loss had done to her ability to multitask,  I did some self searching.

That was when I got finished laughing a comment she made in her well done blog.

The post made me think about the importance of what we put on every day.  On and in our minds.  We are after all, multi faceted creatures.

As Meryl artfully pointed out, it is vital that we put on all the basic articles of apparel.

But it is worthy to take into account that , just because we are dressed does not mean we are equipped to face our day.

Each of us needs to put on an awareness of what is going on around us.  We also need a positive attitude.  How about a spirit of acceptance and genuine caring.  Pack some extra creativity and all your market skills.

What would our days be without plans and goals?  Where would we end up at the end of the day?  Would we be aware when the end was?

While we are equipping ourselves with the positives, it might be constructive to be sure we set aside all the negatives from past lessons and any prejudices we find ourselves carrying around. There is no room in this life for excess baggage!

When we head out unprepared we set ourselves up for disappointments and failure.  We do not have to allow those things if we do a little mental preparation.  It is easy to do and the benefits are truly priceless.

I set out everyday with a sense of adventure, and am receptive to what is out there waiting for me. I've been meaning to meet up with a property owner on neutral ground for some time, and this morning was the time. A great first meeting.

I think most of us approach each day looking to have a posi8tive impact on something or a few things we touch. The key is when that doesn't happen, how one reacts.

I read her post, too, and thought that it was great.  There but for the Grace of God....  Sometimes, our brains get so far ahead of us that we forget where we are.  Thanks, Ralph and Jeanne!
