Lancaster County Association of Realtors has reported that home sales in Lancaster county have gone up again. Pending sales have risen in almost all months of the last year. Lancaster New Era had the article that said this:
"Pending home sales here grew in July for the 10th straight month, increasing 25.1 percent, a new report shows.
Some 474 homes went under agreement in Lancaster County, up from 379 in July 2011, the Lancaster County Association of Realtors said.
The Lancaster County Association of Realtors figures show that the housing market's recent slump here, induced by the recession, is a thing of the past.
With the latest upturn, pending sales here have risen in 11 of the past 12 months.
Measured another way, last month's performance is the best July in five years, since July 2007 saw 527 pending sales."
Lancaster was voted one of the best places in the country to ride out the recession. How is your market looking lately? The Big Red Team is getting a few new listings this week, stay tuned to see them.
