We went to brunch at Tom Douglas' Dahlia Lounge this past weekend. Amazing, fresh and quite filling.
Hi Roger, no they don't. It's right in the heart of Downtown Seattle so no garden on this particular spot.
Oh man, I am headed home to make French Toast for dinner now. Don't reallly know why the word brunch inspired that, but yup, that's what Donald is going to get for dinner tonight.
He'll love it Tammy!
I had a veggie scramble with fresh squashes, fruit on the side, potatoes and a biscuit. It was very good Valerie!
Kerrie, Brunch is one of my favorite times to chill and enjoy. This looks like a fun place.
Hi Kerrie.... I wish you had posted some photos of their food and presentation....
I like the sign, Kerrie! The neon portion reminds me of a cookie which has been outlined with icing! Seattle has grown to a magnificent city. So different from when I first visited it as a kid in 1958.
I agree with Barbara, Kerrie, next time upload some photos of their food there... I am sure it was delicious!
I'll get some food pics next time but this post was about the iconic sign outside the Dahlia Lounge. He's so cute and his fish moves from side to side.
I have heard about this Dahlia Lounge but have not been there, we been to his old spot at Pike place, maybe we visit Dahlia next time.
Hi Kerrie,
The sign is so unique and it was so cool that you were underneath looking up. I really like the photo!
Kerrie, I used to play basketball with Tom Douglas years ago. Now he's so famous, love the Dahlia.
Thanks, Kerrie, for sharing your experience. Life is good!
Enjoy the remaining days of summer and have your camera in hand to capture the special moments.
Kerrie,
Mmm that makes me hungry! Love the dude great angle too! Check out my blog from yesterday! I think you will enjoy it! I am looking forward to the meet up ! I hope we have a good turnout! Take care and have a wonderful week!
I'm coming to Seattle with the girls for golf next month... may have to check it out! K
