I just sent an AR invite to an agent that is trying to get started in the business. Different company, I have no interest in hiring him, I just thought he was a nice guy. (he seemed pretty "green") Fernando had a client that wanted one of our listings. They have an "LSR" and thought they were ready to buy. The loan was a zero down loan, the LSR was dated from December. Looking in to the situation, the program is no longer available for this buyer and the agent thanked me for pressing the issue. - (they might try some other options, but it doesn't look good)
I thought you might be interested in this real estate related "community web site." There is a LOT of good information here. This is a great way to help your business on a full or part time basis. It is easy to set up a FREE profile for yourself and you can begin reading / learning things from other agents and lenders from all over the country. If you want, you can start a "blog" to communicate with your clients etc.. Let me know if you have any questions, I'd be glad to help..
I find it interesting how many agents are not blogging or reading blogs. I also find it interesting that many agents are afraid of agents in their local area taking a "slice of their pie."
Many of the friendships here on AR seem to be with people in different states. Yep, everyone wants referrals from each other - but is it really a bad idea to have friends locally? Just curious...
