Ok 1-816-659-1194, STOP Harassing Me NOW!!

I don’t know who you are, nor do I give a hoot!

But I want you to stop harassing me.

You're driving me crazyI’ve had enough. 12 calls in 3 days and I suspect you’re not finished.

I didn’t answer your first call on my cell because I didn’t recognize the area code. Good thing. You’ve never left a message…no surprise…and I have no desire to find out more.

Nor am I going to give you whatever measly satisfaction you might get out of actually picking up the call or letting you know this is a real number.

I don’t know if you are a “real” person on the other end or some stupid automated broadcast message, but I hate you nonetheless.

Oh, yes, I’ve googled you to find out if you are what I suspected…a major annoyance to lots of people. Perhaps you get some perverse satisfaction from that.

And I have reported you, although I doubt it will do any good. But at least I feel I’m doing what I can.

And calling you out, 1-816-659-1194, probably won’t have an impact either, but at least I get the satisfaction of letting others know, plus I get 225 points for it which has far more value than whatever it is you are associated with or whoever you are.

I did some research, and hopefully the Call Blocker app for Android will do the trick and keep your sorry a$$ away from me.

Oh, you may start using another number but I’ll just add you to the blacklist.

well, i think, i can give you even a better story:

this morning( funny that i've noticed your blog after this occurred) I received a message asking if I am I. I.. I answered who is asking?

So, here we go: i got many texts explaining that this persons know me well and he/she decided 'to take pity on me' betraying his job and that if i'll tell police, I'll be sorry.

Good morning me......yuuck!

wow, there's a call blocker app, that's a genius invention. Thanks for the tip.

Jeff, Not much fun to have that continual harassment.  Anyone who won't leave a message is rarely a viable client, nor do we care for that way of doing business if they're a business trying to get us to sign up.

Inna - yep that's far worse. There are some freaky people out there on the Internet and using technology.

Benjamin - - and I can easily add several numbers already. Hope it works. I don;t know if there are stats so you can see calls being blocked.

BLIZ - I hate broadcast voicemails, in general, but that's my opinion. I hardly EVER get an an unanswered call from a client or prospect and there is no message, so I am pretty comfortable with not worrying. And the dead give-a-way is when the phone only rings 3 times. For sure that's a telemarketer OR an autocall.

Jeff I do the same thing.  If it is from out of state and I don't recognize the number, I don't answer.  If it is someone that really wants to talk to me they will leave a message and I will call them right back.  If they don't leave a message, then it is not worth picking up no matter how many times they call.

And yes the 225 points does make up for a little bit of the frustration ........... LOL

I wonder if there is one of those apps for the iPhone.  I doubt it will do much good because those numbers change.  You can't remove yourself either.  They hang up on you.  I am off to see if I can find that app.

George - it seems that there are more and more of these calls all the time.

Jane - there is, I saw it. Yep, you're right. I'll just keep adding numbers as I need to. It is probably a minimal solution. Too bad our phones can't yet detect broadcast types of calls.

Jeff, I've gotten these calls too. I just save them to my phone as "Do Not Answer", and from there it's easy to just let it go. Strange thing happened though. Once I do that, I never get a call again. It's as if the number knows......

Hey, I'll be down to SD next week. We've heard nice things about Carlsbad (gee, I wonder where), so will probably take a little jaunt over and check it out.

Don't you just hate it!  And the Do Not Call List does not seem to work at all.
