A Whole New Meaning to the Term "Open House" !!

By

A home inspection found that a hole in the soffet had invited this little critter to make his home in the attic insulation....!  Be sure your house isn't "open" to having critters claim squatters' (squirrel squatters ?) rights in your house...little holes can bring unwanted visitors.  The tiniest holes can make great tunnels for these little fellas and a real mess in your house !

I recently attended a home inspection here in Richmond Virginia and had the "pleasure" of watching the inspector find a dead squirrel!

Hi Sally & David.  So is it now a rental?  Or I am driving you nuts with that question? :)

Sally & David- I just have to say... oh how cute!  But I'm sure that's not what a homeowner would want to hear.

Lets shake things up at your home today!

Did I ever tell you the critters that we between my walls and in the attic were birds?  Yep, at first they thought mice or squirrels, but when they see and "open house" they show up............all kinds of critters.

Good morning, Sally & David. I have seen huge critter nests in attics during inspections. It is amazing how much damage they can do...

Morning Sally & David they are best served fried after a little tenderizing in some hot water or a milk bath.  Mighty tasty but you'll need more than one.

Good morning, Sally and David -- your post title and the accompanying photo make the point very clear -- protect your home and don't create let any "openings" invite unwanted guests.
