There's nothing like a bunch of farm babies to put a smile on your face! Although there is something very spooky about the eyes of goats and sheep. Very spooky indeed.
We saw these beauties at March Farm in Bethlehem today. We took the kids there for a romp in the playground. (The grandkids as in kids, not kids as in... goatbaby kids, although there were two newborn kids in a little house with their mommy.) A good day was had by all, and I got myself some great photos today!
And in case you were wondering... a goat (and sheep, and most animals with hooves) have rectangular pupils which allow them to see from 320-340 degrees. We people see 160-210 degrees. So, goats pretty much have eyes in the back of their heads... ask any kid, that is pretty spooky!
I say the EYES have it!
