Café del Rey in Marina Del Rey California – Waterfront Dining with Excellent Views

I am a big foodie, as most people who know me can attest, and I really enjoy dining out when the opportunity presents itself.

And I enjoy sharing restaurants I’ve enjoyed that I think others might also appreciate.

Café del Rey in Marina del Rey California is another great find – waterfront dining with excellent views, and the food was tops!

My wife and I celebrated an anniversary recently with an overnight to Playa del Rey near Los Angeles, and Café del Rey was the venue of choice.

We stayed at a wonderful B and B to the south, Inn at Playa de Rey, a charming getaway at the beach in Los Angeles, with views of the wetlands and the marina, just a couple of miles away - definitely worth a visit.

I have to thank AR friend Endre Barath in Marina del Rey for his recommendation (BTW if you are looking for Marina de Rey homes for sale, call Endre Barath!!), since I asked his opinion about choosing between Café del Rey and another well-known Italian place in Playa del Rey, Caffe Pinguini. Since views were important and the Café del Rey menu looked delish, they won out.

We were not disappointed, and a corner table by the windows with stellar views of the sun setting over the marina and dinner with my very favorite person in the world made for a very special night.
