We all know the rule of thumb on a public rest room in a restaurant. If that place is filthy, well don't waste another minute...get out of there and forget about eating anything. The bathroom in today's world is an excellent indicator on how things are up close and in detail in many places including houses for sale
LOW EXPECTATIONS
Gas stations are notorious for having disgusting rest rooms. It is inevitable too considering that a lot of them are working gas stations and not just 7-11 stops. The fact that they keep them locked would tell you that it is an ongoing problem to manage public usage and health concerns. However, we expect them to be less than clean. We just want to know how dirty it is
HIGH EXPECTATIONS
Now, lets go into a home. If the kitchen or bathrooms are filthy or even suspect, we have a PAUSE moment. Lets back up even further. If you are driving up and the curb appeal is missing, then we are on alert from that moment on. We become critical thinkers instead of buyers at that point
GARAGES SPEAK
Even a garage that is in disarray says a lot about what is going on in the home. Right in line with that are closets too. Here's a big-gee. SMELL. People do not realize that they have assimilated to their environment. WHAT SMELL is their mantra. Meanwhile others are gagging...
YOUR CAR IS A TATTLE TALE TOO
Last little thought...if your car is filthy, it is speaking. What it is saying may or may not be true of the owner, but it is worthy of gossip that's for sure. Cleanliness is a big thing for consumers and buyers as well as visitors....
This subject is non negotiable....YES?
