Welcome to Active Rain Tyler.  A couple of weeks ago, I noticed that Christmas decorations were out at the Dollar Tree. This drives me crazy.  Halloween decorations were out as well.  I'm pretty tradtional when it comes to holidays to Mid September is good timing for Halloween decorations and nearer to Thanksgiving is good enough to start setting out the decorations for Christmas.

But on the business planning September/October is prime time to start crafting our goals for next year.

Hi Tyler -- Eric Michael sent me your way via his post.   Good luck for the remainder of the third quarter into the fourth which we know sets the tone for the next year.   As you note with your reference to Christmas at the mall --- 2013 will be here before you know it.  Proper planning will set the tone for a great 4th quarter and year ahead.

Tyler...welcome...I've only been around just a few weeks myself.  Everyone has been so nice, I've learned so much in such a short period of time.  Joinng AR is the best decision I've made in quite some time...have a great balance of year!

Congrats. Tyler, great blog.  I have made the mistake of coming in & out of ActiveRain depending on my workload.  I have now made a commitment to visit ActiveRain daily.  I suggest that would be a good plan for you too.
