Ok, I Admit, I'm a Little Slow on the Uptake....(the IPad Uptake...)
Yeah. I will admit that I wanted to buy a tablet, like, six months ago. I couldn't make a decision. I've been agonizing about it for four months.
Yes, agonizing. Yes, four months. I'm not usually this indecisive.
You have to understand...I'm married to a Software Engineer. (There is a reason for those "caps.") And this particular Software Engineer is hard-core PC. I might even say hard-core Microsoft. (Gasp!)
Anyway, about four months ago I ventured to express an interest in an Apple product to said husband...which was not received with the type of support I expected from said husband (OMG!!! The World just ended!).
Not only did I have a less than enthusiastic response, but he proceeded to muddy the waters of my (non-technical) brain with data (and web links!!!) to various Android Tablets and Microsoft Tablets.
Ok. Upon reflection, this was exactly the response I should have expected from said husband.
Anyhoo...over the past four months I have diligently done research (procrastinated) in order to make some kind of intelligent decision about what tablet I wanted to buy. (My current research pretty much consisted of observing what close associates have purchased and asking questions. Period.)
I attended, with a colleague, a presentation of the newest Samsung Tablet (which I do like) and was really close to purchasing it on the spot (like she did) but held off at the last minute. (As an aside - she had purchased an IPad but didn't like it. When she bought the Samsung Tablet she returned the IPad.)
Another month passed.
Two weeks ago I asked this same colleague how she liked the Tablet. (Still doing research!) She said that it didn't function with the MLS the way she wanted it to.
All of a sudden, I was no longer in a quandary.
Four days ago I walked into the Apple Store (for the very first time!!!!) in the Portland Mall and bought an IPad.
For more information on why I love this IPad, stay tuned.....
