A picture is worth a thousand words and the before and after pictures are truly amazing. I believe it is sometimes difficult to imagine what a room will look like after it has been updated. I was recently in an 3 very similar 80's two story homes. The first home had VERY extensive oak everywhere. Oak was modern when it was installed and has become dated. The second home owners had painted most of the oak white and the transformation was amazing. It went from dated to hip and clean.
