Pier Point South Condos located at 390 A1A Beach Blvd St. Augustine Beach, is the the farthest north of the St. Augustine Condos on Anastasia Island. It's name is derived from the County Pier lying just north of the property.

The County Pier stretches 300' over the sand and out into the Atlantic Ocean. Access to the pier is through the Bait & Tackle office and the pier is a favorite fishing spot for residents and visitors alike.
Anastasia State Park begins just an 1/8 of a mile north of the condos. The County Pier facility includes an arts builiding (dance) and the Pier Pavilion and Volleyball Courts.
This facility hosts many events such as a Taste of the Beach, the New Years Eve fireworks & Chili Cookoff, the Popular "Concerts by the Sea" on Wednesday eves 5-9 May through September, the Farmer's Market on Wednesdays, and many other events throughout the year!
The picture at left was taken August 30, 2012 from right in front of the Pier Point South Condos. In June of 2012 the ocean was at high tide was up to the seawall seen in the picture. There are 5 buildings that make up the Pier Point South condos. The 2 Builidings at the front are direct oceanfront. On the first floor the units are "flats" (1 floor). All of the units on the 2nd Floor are townhouses (2 floors).
Most all of the townhouses (2nd floor) at the condominium that are not in the front 2 buildings still have a good view of the ocean.

Pier Point South Condos is a concrete block building. The Flats have 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and are 1,058 square feet. The townhouses have 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths and are 1,111 square feet. In 2007 a major exterior renovation was completed which included repairing concrete and rebar in the outside walls, sealing and painting of the outside, new roof, new railings, and remodeling of the pool and surrounding area.
When a major renovation takes place to a condominium, all improvements have to meet the current building codes. As a result of the renovation, all the windows and sliding glass doors were replaced with "hurricane code" ones that are ceritified to withstand an impact up to 130 mph.
Grocery shopping is 2 miles south straight down A1A Beach Blvd where you will find the Publix and Winn-Dixie shopping plazas. When you get hungry and don't want to cook, you'll find FA Cafe, Panama Hatties, the Sunset Grill, the Coquina Beach Club, Dunes Cracker House, Mango Mangos, the Beachcomber, and more right on the Blvd and many of these within an easy walking distance.
Parking at the Pier Point South Condos includes 1 reserved parking spot and guest spot. Along the bordering street though there is also public parking and if you should have a crowd, there is ample parking at the County Pier parking lot. Management is on-site and full time and the condo management also manages the rental office.
The busiest rental season is May - August and units rent by the week. The second busiest season is the sno-bird season January - April and units usually rent by the month. The off season is September - December. The minimum rental period for a unit at Pier Point South is 1 week.
