That's wonderful creative photo editing, Laura!  Nice job of turning what could have been an ordinary picture into a piece of art!

Thank you Sharon!  I was amazed when I looked through the camera lens and saw the rainbow of colors sparking back at me.

Susie, we just have to keep our eyes open and stop and look once in a while.  Have a blessed day my friend.

My pleasure Tatyana.  Wishing you a wonderful week!

In some parts colorful words like these may be banned Mike!  LOL!

Joanna, it was an extraordinary gift to have the sun hit that flower just right and be there for it!  As you can see from the first photo, the colors were all there.  I just intensified them slightly.  I may just have to make this one into a canvas.

Conrad, it's amazing how a little time with the camera and nature can clear one's head!  Write something relaxing into your daily schedule.  :)

They really can my Zinger friend!  Even the simplest flower when you look close enough is quite complex and extraordinary.  Happy sunflower day to you too!

I was outside a serbian restuarant the other weekend and saw the most HUGEST (yup that is a word today) sunflower curled over I had ever seen...neato!

Laura, it's a little amazing how much things change the closer you get to them.  You learn new things about an object that you take for granted.

Kristin, are you saying HUGEST is not normally a word?  I am just fascinated by the many sizes and colors of sunflowers.  There are such a variety!  If you get back there again, sneak some seeds for me okay?  ;-)

"...it's a little amazing how much things change the closer you get to them.  You learn new things about an object that you take for granted." What a very profound statement Nick (not that I am surprised)!  So true, and I have really taken notice that when you look for the negative, that is what you will see.  And same holds true for the positive.  If you look, it's there. :)

Well thank you Mike.  I had such a great time taking all the photo's (I took a lot!).

Laura,

I love your creativity! Sunflowers are gifts from God!

The American Indian did so much with sunflowers. They knew how valuable they are to people here on earth.

Great! Great! Great photo!!!

Thank you Particia!  I am still at awe at the colors that were caught by the sun and the lens.  Amazing!
