On Monday, January 21, another wave of political candidates, newscasters, media and moguls will flow into the Myrtle Beach area, this time for the Democratic Primary Presidential Debate being held at the Palace Theatre near Broadway at the Beach.
Not to show preference for Republicans over Democrats, the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce has confirmed that another Mt. Myrtle (the Mount Rushmore-like rendering of the candidates faces carved in a mountain of sand) will be erected in honor of the Democratic candidates.
As hectic and overwhelming as these political events can be, having Myrtle Beach be the host town is a huge accomplishment for us. Welcome, Dems! We look forward to having you here!
