What’s for dinner? Greenmount Station, Good Choice in Hampstead, Maryland
Its been a goofy week for dinners this week. I started to prepare chicken last night when the overwhelming stench of rotten chicken hit me in the face. Not feeding the family that! Today it was the roast. I've been putting off making the roast, I'm not sure why other than that I didn't really feel like peeling the potatoes. Monday, I forgot to make it, Tuesday was the chicken incident so Chris, my hubby, decided to take matters in his own hands and prepare the roast last night.  I couldn't resist teasing him about it today, I sent a text around noon...."was I supposed to start the roast?" to which he replied "yes" and I simply said "um" and left it at that.

Fast forward to dinner time, 6:40pm we are all starved hubby comes home, finds the roast cooking happily in the crock pot and tells me he was a little upset with my text. Chris enjoyed a venting session with his boss over spouses who can't pot the crock pot on and start it. Too funny! So we go to serve dinner, the potatoes aren't done, no big deal.....until we realize the meat isn't done either. Now what?

Greenmount Station to the rescue!  Greenmount Station is located at  1631 N. Main Street in Hampstead, MD.  Greenmount Station a cool place with a railroad motif and a sports bar/ restaurant feel. The place is always busy, service is great and my favorite menu item is the Ruben. Tonight I tried something new, crab imperial, not bad but not my favorite.

Greenmount Station is a popular place to watch the Baltimore Ravens & enjoy a drink and some wings or other “Fist Stop” favorites with friends.
