Harrison, Idaho is a quaint little destination town for boaters and day trippers. Located on the southeastern shore of Lake Coeur d'Alene, it has a population of 223 people. It is a favorite stopping place for boaters to take in a cheerful lunch overlooking the lake while they gas up their boats.
The Lake Coeur d'Alene Scenic Byway runs through Harrison, and for day trippers Harrison is a favorite place for a pit stop. The little town has a few shops and restaurants, a full service marina and a shady city park. A bit of trivia: the public restrooms at the park are renowned to be the cleanest public restrooms anyone has ever visited. I payed a visit and was not disappointed!
