Kentlands/Lakelands 5 K Run Parking Restrictions

Parking Restrictions/Towing Fees for 5K Run/Walk
No Parking on Affected Streets 12 a.m. - 12 p.m. September 1
New City Towing Policy Will Mean a Ticket and Towing Fee if Vehicles are Left on the Course after Midnight
To ensure the safety of all race participants, race streets will be closed to parking before and during the race, and car traffic will be restricted until 12 p.m. on September 1. Cars left on the course after Midnight/ 12 a.m. on Race Day will be towed at the owner's expense.
Please note: If you live NEAR the Race Course, and anticipate the need to drive anywhere before 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 1, please MOVE YOUR CAR IN ADVANCE to a location that is not in a "tow-away zone" on Friday, August 31 (options include Lakelands Park MS, Lakelands Park Parking Lot past Kersten St, Rachel Carson ES, Kentlands Blvd, and Whole Foods or Bally's parking lots).
If you live on one of the following streets your vehicle must be moved by 12 a.m. September 1 or it will be ticketed and towed. These streets include:
Beckwith St (from Kent Oaks Way to M a s s b u r y )
Booth St (from M i d t o w n Rd to Hart Rd)
Briscoe St; Center Point Way (to Heathwalk)
Chestertown St (from NW T s c h i f f e l y Square Rd to M i d t o w n Rd)
Clagett Crossing Mews
Clagett Crossing Pl
Firehouse Ln
Firehouse Mews
Golden Ash Way
Hart Mews
Hart Rd
Inspiration Ln
Kent Oaks Mews (NE of Kent Oaks Way)
