Hey, Get out of my Space

Will is just so funny sometimes.  I like the setup of our office but he must get bored on his side of the world and comes over to see what I am doing.  There's nothing worse than having someone hovering over your shoulder!  I'll show him easement.  I should tape it off where my half includes the door.  Now that would be funny.

Hey, Get out of my Space

officeSharing an office with my business partner, Belinda Spillman is always interesting.  Her desk is against one wall and mine is against the other so we work with our backs to each other.

There are times when she says I am in her personal space.  It got so bad in our last office that she put blue tape down the middle and told me not to cross the tape line.  She wouldn’t give me an easement to the door to go out to the men’s room so this was a problem.

Our new office is set up pretty good, but when I go to her desk and look over her shoulder on her monitor she throws a bit of a fit.

The good thing about this office though is that my work area is next to the door so she better watch it or she won’t get an easement and she goes to the ladies room a lot more that I go to the men’s room.

I understand the problem.  However, this is a real issue if tape needs to devide you.  LOL

I work with my dogs and so far they do not look over my shoulders but they better WATCH it... I might have to tape off the dog door if they start snooping too much.

Hi Belinda - If you guys decide to divide the office evenly, my advice would be to go for the bottom half.

Hi Belinda. I know exactly how you feel. I share office space too with another agent. But, it appears that you and Will have more space than we do. Since your half includes the door, it would appear that you are in control. (LOL).

Belinda - very funny. Wouldn't like to be the counsellor working on this one. Tape is one thing ~ chainsaw might be an esclalation. In my home office, my wife (mostly) does not interrupt if my centerless frisbee is on its peg. For emphasis I put it on my head (slipped halo). Looks odd. Usually works.

Hi Belinda -- do you remember the television show WKRP in Cincinnati?   The newsman wanted a private office but there was no money in the budget for one so he taped off his "space" for privacy.

Craig and I don't talk to each other when we're working and we have our backs to each other too. I have the three windows on our view though so I try not to aggravate him :)
