House to House with Kay....
This is for you folks looking to purchase a home in the Sanford area but are not sure of location when searching listings on the internet. There are many properties for sale with a Sanford mailing address - but did you know Sanford, the town, is in Lee County N. C. but drive across the county line into Harnett County, NC and you still have a Sanford mailing address.
You may see a real estate internet listing that says located in Sanford - only a 15 minute drive to Ft. Bragg. This is true but it is in another county, where as the town of Sanford may be a 35 minute drive to Ft. Bragg.
There are many areas in Western Harnett County like this. Some of the other names you may reconize are Cameron and Spring Lake. They are in Western Harnett as well as Moore County and Cumberland County. It just goes to show you, you can't always believe what you see on the maps....... Western Harnett county is between Ft. Bragg (Cumberland County) and Lee County. It is one of the fastest growing communities around this area..
