Meet Up and a Raincamp, What a great week!
Well I must say that for being the dog day’s of summer, this has been one action packed amazing week! We had our AR Meetup Wednesday morning at the 14 Carrot Cafe on Eastlake Ave E in Seattle. What total blast!
Impromptu special guest Maureen Fukumoto came all the way from Hawaii to be here! Well, ‘here’ was actually to visit friends and family for a couple of weeks. I'm really glad she made time to come and hangout with us fellow Rainers for her first meetup!
Of course my partner in crime for this event Charles Buell was in the house and quite lively for 8:00 am, along with Kim Mulligan, Adrian Willanger, co-worker Barbie Van Horn and Tammy Emineth with husband, Tim.
One of the perks for living and working in and around Seattle is having Activerain’s HQ in your backyard. It was so much fun (as always) to have our own community manager Kerrie Greenhalgh with us and several of AR's absolutely fabulous behind the scenes staff that all do so much for the network we call home including Jeff Downs, Harmony Moua, Kelly Pflugrath, Michelle Leslie, and Jeff Gray.
Get a bunch of bloggers in the room and you can count on some great story telling!

Thank you so much Activerain & staff for all you do! It's appreciated! And, you're totally a great bunch to hangout with. And least I forget them not, Thank you Thank you to the wonderful crew at the 14 Carrot Cafe. You were awesome and thank you so so much for taking such great care of us!
Then it's Thursday and it's Raincamp time online (8/30/2012). This was one of the best Raincamps (minute for minute) ever, I think. I truly enjoy the live in person events, but when it comes to content, this was rich but no fluff, the real deal, sit down buckle up and pay attention to those that are making it happen. I totally enjoyed all of you speakers, Ben Kinney, Sue Adler, Laura Duggan, Ryan Dallas, Bob Stewart, and Debe Maxwell.
It was an impressive "Best of the Best" to be sure. I have 15 pages of furiously taken notes and the take-aways are so numerous I haven't counted them all yet! Thank you all for sharing your experience and methods of success, a most generous contribution and much appreciated.
