In 2006 I had reached the point in lending where I actually felt I didn't have to hoard every dollar I made. I always appreciated my clients and tried to build relationships throughout the loan process. (After all isn't it best to perform well and build a rapport with your existing clients than trying to harvest a loan from shoppers) The clients I had been working with just starting moving into their new home and I wanted to get a nice housewarming gift for them. After searching the Internet and looking through many stores, all the gifts seemed to be of low quality and not at all impressive. I continued to struggle with finding anything that I felt my clients would actually keep around for more than a week. I wanted something they could remember me by. It was then I came up with The Brokers Emporium. A website that provides quality gifts for real estate professionals. After many months of hard work and day after day of searching for the right manufacturers and wholesalers for the products we wanted to provide, we then launched the Brokers Emporium website. Not everyone is able to visit us locally and we knew that many real estate professionals could benefit from this service, so we decided a website would be a great resource for everyone.
People have found many different uses for the items we provide. For example I know of people who have sent our Mrs. Fields Cookie Baskets or Tins to their clients office during the transaction which made a huge impact with coworkers. Or how our Fondue Gift Basket was the hit of their clients housewarming Party. It is always very interesting to hear what people do for their clients. And it sounds as if they have been having success with referrals.
I am very interested to know what you all think of the Brokers Emporium. Please let me know.
And if there is anything you would like to have added to the site, your input is greatly appreciated.
