Labor Day, the end of Summer, and real estate sales!

Real Estate Broker/Owner with Richard Weisser Realty

Labor Day, the end of Summer, and real estate sales! The Labor Day Holiday is typically considered to be the end of Summer. And although the calendar indicates that there are three more weeks until the Equinox, we all seem to “fall” into Autumn mode!

School is back is session, college football has begun, and the gardens are withering after a bountiful harvest. It’s time for fall planting and getting the yard ready for the upcoming winter.

Fall also typically brings a boost in real estate sales. As the Summer winds down, many buyers take advantage of cooler weather and less hectic schedules and spend more time home shopping.

I’m going to enjoy the holiday today, and then I’m going to hunker down for the remainder of the year.

It looks like we are going to have a fantastic finish!

Good moring, Richard,

I am with you on that... Buyers are more willing to shop around when it is not so hot outside, and when their children are in schools.

Have a great day!

Our hot selling season on the lake has come to an end.  But I have some great contracts that I hope to close over the next few months (when those short sales go under contract I always hunker down for the wait).

Took a look at my last quarter plan last night. Ordered my Thanks Giving Cards. Will be ordering more Christmas cards today. Then I will be vacuuming, washing the windows and sills. Then I will be filing a foot high pile of office papers. Then we will sit on the patio last this evening and have a sweet tea.
