Just off busy Fair Oaks and little known State Street in the Southwest area of Pasadena you will find this interesting spot. At this location you will find another interesting art installation which is a part of the city of Pasadena Rotating Arts Program. Discover sculpture(seating intended to evoke the Arts and Crafts decorative style) and sound(audio plays recorded, original poetry about Pasadena as you approach the sculpture). Sit down, relax - reflect - be a part of art in Pasadena and enjoy the day!

Good morning Michael -

Sounds like you have a relaxing plan for the Labor Day. I am moving slowly today, battling a cold and feeling rough around the edges. Bummer. I have some work to do after that if I'm feeling better we may head down to the Bosque (Cottonwood forest along the river) and let the dog run free. Nothing like enjoying Mother Nature to make all right with the world :) Hope you enjoy Labor day to the fullest my friend.

Hi Michael - I like that the piece includes the poetry - some of the most interesting art has an unexpected component. I have to say, though, that it doesn't look as comfortable as my hammock, which is where I am right now and intend to stay for as long as possible.
