Foreclosures: an Opportunity for Viral Marketing Tactics!

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams The Marketplace One

Here is a new viral marketing tactic I am in the process of trying out...I thought some of you might find it useful.

Repo SignWith all of the foreclosures in our market it is difficult not to show at least several to any one buyer. With all of these choices, every once in awhile you run into a diamond in the rough. Such is the case with my latest buyer. We just recently got her offer to purchase accepted by the bank. Horray for her! A new opportunity for me!

She is so excited about her diamond in the rough that I thought I would take 'before' pictures for her. Well, why not take it a step further...so I am dedicating a page on my website to display her 'before' pictures. What a great opportunity for viral marketing. She can forward this link to her page on MY WEBSITE to her friends and family to show them her new purchase. And I have everything I need to keep these friends and family coming back for more...a genuine interest in my buyers success!

I'm sure I don't need to tell any of you that I'll have all of my information at the bottom of the page, including: Looking for your own foreclosure or a brand new home? Heather Jemison: Providing "YOU-Centric" Real Estate Services, etc..

The other opportunity is that I can call her in a few weeks to see the progress. If she would like, I can take more pictures and load them on as progress pictures.

And you guessed it...I can take 'after' pictures, too.

What about the opportunity to ask/receive referrals by providing outstanding service.

The opportunities are only limited by our imagination!

Are you thinking what I'm thinking...streaming video!

What a great idea.  I'd love to see the pictures of the diamond in the rough.  Let us know when they're out on your website.

Unique! and "Out of the Box"Thinking, You go Girl.

Do you want to make an impression on your buyer?  Get her the gift that keeps on giving, and give her a subscription to some home decorating, interior design or landscaping magazine. Then each month your name is in front of her, .........

or

Take your before and after photos and create a book for her, that can become a coffee table piece, to be discussed by friends, family neighbors, guests, etc.  But best of all your name is on it. And you are in it(if you take a picture of yourself and your buyer)
