On the first Saturday of each month it is Open House at London Pride in Largo Florida, Fran and Laurie Black open the doors to their London Pride shop on Walsingham Rd for visitors to come and join in a refreshing Pimms and a selection of home made goodies, not to mention some good old British chit chat but I must say I didn't see one cup of tea.
London Pride in Largo is a haven for everything British, from trinkets and souvenirs to the best of British Groceries, If you want to make a traditional Sunday roast but just can't find the Bisto or the Paxo to give it that real authentic taste then you need to call in and see Fran and Laurie, they have it all.
Tea bags, only the British now what it means to have PG Tips or Tetley tea bags well you can pick them up here at London Pride in Largo Florida, biscuits to dunk in your tea, sweets in jars ( I'm a sucker for chocolate limes), crunchies, fresh food and real cheese the list is endless.
This has also become a regular Meet Up for members of the Tampa Bay British Expat Club who you will find stocking up on everything British.
Don't think these guys just have the groceries we miss so much just take a look at these photo's and watch out for the guy in the big black hat!!
