Tag Based Listings is a topic that I believe many real estate professional are unfamiliar with so I thought I would create a short video and Tag Based Listings in the most basic terms. I want you to think about Tag Based Listings just like you think about entering your new listing data into your MLS system. As you enter the new listing you select an area, you select a school district, you tell the MLS how many bedrooms, how many baths, how big the lot is, what price range...essentially you are tagging the features your listing has into the MLS listing database so that the MLS knows exactly which features your home has so that it can match your home to future searches. Most real estate agents feature their real estate listings on their personal website. However, most of the REALTOR websites that I see only display the homes in price order. What if your listing could be searched and viewed so that it is displayed so that it appealed to many different buyer groups other than in just those searching for homes in price order? The reality is that this is VERY possible and it isn't really that hard to do if your website has a tag feature or your site utilizes datasbase with fields.

Knox County Ohio Bank owned homes is another example of how you can use listing tags to organize our listings for buyers who are just looking for Bank Owned listings.
