That event looks like so much fun!  I have a 12 year old granddaughter, who inherited a lot of rancher personality from her dad's side of the family.  I wish we had time to just break loose, and cut a path across Nevada to your state and attend this!  Perhaps one day!

When I was a kid, I always wanted to try to do the sheep riding contest. It looked like so much fun, plus I wanted to follow in my grandfather's footsteps. Never did get to, but probably for the best.

Myrl, They can be a lot of fun!

Todd, When I was a teenager I tried riding a wild cow(not quite the bulls that they use in most rodeos) in a rodeo.  I only had to come off twice before I realized that it was going to hurt every time whether you made the 8 seconds or not.  That was the extent of my rodeo riding experience.  I admire the pain tolerance of those who ride professionally!
