Waterbottles-a good marketing idea?

By

Ok so I switched companies and am trying to get my name out there as much as possible...so during my soccer game the other night I was thinking how to target this age group/demographic without creating something too disposable(i'm a big greenie) and I came up with water bottles! The one below is the one i decided on...but wanted to get some people's ideas...do you think it's money well spent or a waste?  also can you think of a slogan I can put on there?  any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Danielle, the uploaded photo did not come through. I think water bottles with your label on them are a great promotional item. Your slogan might be whatever your niche that you are focusing on is related to.

Pic is not there for me either, but the water bottle you should go with is a Nalgene. Anything else would be a waste in my opinion. Nalgene's are indestructible and anyone "out doorsy" would know it is a quality product - but that is an older crowd (parents & coaches). Drawback: Price! It aint cheap! If you do decide on them: google: Custom Nalgene to see all your options.

If I were you, I would "sponsor" one of the soccer teams or an entire league and provide them all with little kid friendly, no spill water bottles with their team's name and logo on it WITH YOURS on the other side or under theirs. Ask the parents if any other professionals or business owners would want to help sponsor them & yall can do all kinds of things for the kiddos, like T-shirts with the players listed and your logo at the bottom & the Team Name on the front, etc.... It is TONS of marketing for you & it almost looks like volunteer work if you approach it right.

Good luck!

Let me know when your image is up.

Disclaimer: I'm not a wacked out global warming zealot/hippy. I've researched it and I know it is a hoax. But I do think "going green" is good for 2 reasons: #1 Preservation of Natural Beauty & #2 Profit  You can take part in both reasons with this marketing idea!

PS: To post a picture you can upload and host it on Photobucket. Then copy the "direct link" and click on the little tree icon in the comment window.  Paste that Link where it says "Image URL" and then click insert. Your photos should appear.

I don't use the AR UpLoader because I had some similar problems in the past.
