There appear to be a new movement among real estate agents to stop their listings from appearing on 3rd party syndicator sites such as: Zillow, Trulia realtor.com, etc.

The reason behind this movement is because when a given listing appears on these sites, they are almost always accompanied by contact information of competing real estate agents.
Why would an agent willingly contribute to a service that hinders their business?
