Who says a day at the office has to be all work and no fun? My little Realtors-in-Training will sometimes accompany me to the office when I just have a few things to take care of. Cloverly Park on Briggs Chaney Rd happens to be around the corner from Thompson Company Realtors' office on New Hampshire Ave. Besides ball fields, a tennis court and shaded picnic area, it also has a pretty neat playground.
Cloverly Park is adjacent to Cloverly Elementary School and is a popular neighborhood park in Colesville, MD.
How could I possibly resist the "puh-lease mommy, can we go play?" when we pass Cloverly Park and have have a few minutes to spare?
So, they have tested the slides and see-saw, climbed, monkey'd and went "real high" on the swings, too. The final verdict: Thompson Co. Realtors-in-Training highly recommend the playground at Cloverly Park ... mom approves as well and is thinking that the picnic area would make a fantastic 'outdoor' office for meeting with her Silver Spring, MD home buyers and sellers (there is a Starbucks within walking distance).
Perhaps the playground at Cloverly Park is the reason that my little helpers don't mind tagging along to drop off a key, take a few pictures, check on a listing, preview a home, drop off a file at the office ...
Or perhaps it is because Mr. Larry, as they call the owner of Thompson Co. Realtors, has a not-so-secret stack of candy bars just for them ..
Or perhaps it is because they love playing in our little office court yard with the beautiful old Magnolia tree that's just perfect for hiding behind or climbing on ....
Or perhaps it is all of the above.
